What do the run statuses mean?
Each time a process runs, the run gets a status. You'll see it on the dashboard and on the process's History tab.
| Status | What it means | Does the schedule continue? |
|---|---|---|
| Running | The run has started and some records are still being handled, including records held back by a Schedule Expression. | The next run is scheduled when it finishes. |
| Succeeded | No record failed. This includes runs that found no records. | Yes. |
| Partial | Some records succeeded and some failed. | Yes. |
| Failed | The records couldn't be fetched, something went wrong partway through, or every fetched record failed. | Only if Continue Schedule On Failure is on. |
| Retry scheduled | The data source returned a 400 (Bad Request) error when fetching records. AutomatedOn will try again automatically. | The retry is already scheduled. |
A run that stays Running
A run stays Running until every record has been handled. That can be a long time if records are delayed by a Schedule Expression; check the Jobs tab for waiting Process Record jobs. If a record job was cancelled, or the run was interrupted, it may never finish. If there are no jobs waiting and it still says Running, contact Three 17 support, then schedule a new run.
