Dismiss, restore and requeue runs

On the History tab, back office users can hide runs they've dealt with and re-run failed ones.

Dismiss and restore

  • Click Dismiss on a run to hide it from the list. Nothing is deleted, and its records still appear in the Records table and in the monthly totals.
  • To see dismissed runs, tick Show dismissed. Dismissed runs show a Restore button instead.
  • To act on several at once, tick the boxes on the left (or the box in the header to select every run on the page), then click Dismiss selected or Restore selected.

Requeue a failed run

Failed runs have a Requeue button. It starts a new run straight away with the same parameters as the failed one. You'll see Process has been queued for background execution.

  • Fix the cause of the failure first, or the new run will probably fail the same way.
  • The new run schedules its next run as normal. If Continue Schedule On Failure is on, the failed run already scheduled a next run, so check the Jobs tab to avoid two repeating cycles.
  • Only runs with the Failed status can be requeued. To re-run something else, schedule a job on the Jobs tab.

If something goes wrong you'll see Failed to update the run., Failed to update the selected runs. or Failed to requeue the run.
