Set up two-step verification
AutomatedOn requires a second sign-in step for members who sign in with a password. The first time you sign in, you're taken to the Set up sign-in security page and can't continue until it's set up.
Before you start
Decide which option suits you:
- Authenticator app: you'll need an app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator on your phone.
- Email code: we email you a 6-digit code each time you sign in, so you'll need access to the inbox for your account.
Steps
-
Choose an option
On the Set up sign-in security page, select Choose next to Authenticator app or Email code.
-
If you chose Authenticator app
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. If you can't scan it, enter the key shown under Can't scan it? Enter this key manually into the app instead. The app then shows a 6-digit code that changes every so often.
-
If you chose Email code
We send a 6-digit code to your email address straight away, with the subject Your AutomatedOn sign-in code. If it hasn't arrived, check your junk folder, then select Resend code.
-
Confirm with a code
Enter the current code in the 6-digit code box and select Confirm.

What happens next
