What is a processed record?

A processed record is one record that a real process run has handled. Each time a run fetches records from its dataset, every record it then works through counts once.

What counts

  • Each record handled by a real run counts once, whether it succeeded or failed.
  • If the same record is fetched again by a later run, it counts again.
  • Records that failed before their steps ran, for example because a rule lookup failed, count as failed.

What doesn't count

  • Test runs on the Test tab, and anything on the Queries or Suggested Tests tabs.
  • Runs that found no records.
  • Records whose job was cancelled before it ran.
  • Records still waiting to be handled, such as ones delayed by a Schedule Expression, until they run.

Where to see the totals

Totals are shown by month as Total, Succeeded and Failed, on the dashboard for all processes and on each process's History tab. A record is counted in the month it started, using UTC.
